STUDENT GROUP FLIGHT
INFORMATION AND RESERVATION FORM
KHON KAEN, THAILAND SPRING 2025 SEMESTER

Frosch Student Travel has been appointed by the University Studies Abroad Consortium to provide an optional group flight to Khon Kaen, Thailand for your study abroad program. We will provide round-trip transportation on China Airlines/Thai Smiles Airways from Los Angeles to Khon Kaen departing on February 15, 2025.

If the group flight does not meet your travel plans, you may register online above and specify your preferred departure city on the reservation form under departure options as per instructions below.

Under departure options please select “book a connecting flight”. The “from” box will appear and you may specify your preferred departure city to merge with the group flight. Please continue to complete the reservation form. Your card will not be charged until you receive and accept a fare quote. We will contact you regarding the fare upon receipt of your form. OUTBOUND FLIGHT ITINERARY

BANGKOK TO KHON KAEN CONNECTION: After customs and immigration upon arrival at Bangkok airport please collect your luggage and proceed to check-in with Thai Smile Airline for your Bangkok/Khon Kaen flight. (China Airlines is able to tag your luggage all the way to Khon Kaen but there is a possibility of lost/delayed luggage because of two interlining airlines so we recommend that you check your luggage yourself with Thai Smile Airways)

Please note that Thai Smile Airline allow one checked bag–44lbs free and one carry on is free. Second checked bag will be $45 which has to be paid at the time of check-in at Bangkok airport.

BANGKOK TO KHON KAEN FLIGHT

GROUP WILL BE MET BY A KHON KAEN UNIVERSITY REPRESENTATIVE UPON ARRIVAL AT THE AIRPORT IN KHON KAEN. IF YOU ARE SCHEDULED FOR THE GROUP FLIGHT , BUT YOU DO NOT ARRIVE WITH THE GROUP BECAUSE OF CANCELLATIONS OR DELAYS OF CONNECTING FLIGHTS YOU ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR YOUR TRANSFER FROM THE AIRPORT.

GROUP RETURN FLIGHTS

We are offering group return flights departing Khon Kaen on June 12, 2025. You may fly back with the group or you may pick your own independent return flight date. Please specify your choice on the reservation form.

Please note that on the return flight we may use different flight routes in order to get you a lower fare and direct flight to your hometown airport.

FLIGHT REGISTRATION AND DEADLINES

TICKET VALIDITY AND RETURN FLIGHT INFORMATION

• Your return ticket is valid until February 14, 2026 (1 year) from Khon Kaen back to the city of your departure.
• We are offering group return flights departing Khon Kaen on June 12, 2025. You may fly back with the group or you may opt to fly back independently on a different date from Khon Kaen. Please specify your choice on the reservation form.
• Once abroad you are allowed to change your already confirmed return flight date for $150 plus any difference in fare by contacting our Frosch Student Travel office while abroad. Please note that all date changes are subject to availability of the flights and require advance notice. The ticket you are purchasing has limited availability on the flights. Please note that June, July, August, November and December are the busiest months for travel.
• Any unused portion of your ticket is non-refundable.

CANCELLATION POLICY

We are offering a flexible cancellation policy in case you are not able to travel. You have the option to keep the credit of the ticket for future travel.

If you prefer to receive a refund for the ticket instead of keeping the travel credit, you may cancel at any time prior to departure for only $350. You would receive a full refund minus a $350 cancellation fee.

YOUR TICKET DELIVERY

Your round-trip electronic ticket will be sent to your email address specified on the reservation form.

SEATING

PLEASE BE ADVISED: We will provide free pre-assigned seating on available flights. Not all airlines allow free pre-assigned seating and will charge a seat fee per flight. You may also choose a free seat using online check-in 24 hours prior to departure or at the check-in counter at the airport to avoid any seating fees.

BAGGAGE ALLOWANCE

You are allowed to check-in 1 free bag weighing not more than 50 pounds. The total dimensions of the bag must be 62 inches (length, width and depth). You may also carry on one bag weighing not more than 10 pounds and the total dimension of the bag must not exceed more than 45 inches (length, width and depth).

All airlines are very strict about the baggage allowance. Please do not try to check-in oversized or overweight luggage because it might result in an excess baggage penalty at the airport.

Please note that you must be able to handle your luggage on your own. Traveling with light luggage will make your travels much easier.
